Binbir Gece Masalları (One Thousand and One Nights) English Subtitles: 1x1

Episode 1

Binbir Gece Masalları (One Thousand and One Nights) Episode 1 is not on air yet, but the first official promo already sets the tone for this Turkish fantasy drama made for tabii. The trailer opens with a child’s gentle request, “Will you tell me a story?”, answered with the classic opening of every Turkish tale: once upon a time.

From there the promo cuts between tender and dangerous moments. Voices talk about lovers in fairy tales who wait patiently until they finally find each other, while another asks whether there is any hope at all in her love. A mother warns that Scheherazade has enchanted her son, a line that hints at the palace tension the series is built on.

The most memorable lines come near the end. Love is described as sometimes sweeter than honey and sometimes more bitter than poison, and a final question asks whether you would like to be a flower that never fades. The promo closes on the series’ promise that as long as there are tales, love never ends, and on a quiet reminder that this is a paradise where no one can do them harm.

Based on the classic story of Scheherazade, the Grand Vizier’s daughter who marries a sultan who has lost faith in love and wins him over with a new unfinished tale each night, the series stars İbrahim Çelikkol and Cansu Dere alongside Nazan Kesal, Özgür Çevik and Didem Balçın. It is produced by Bozdağ Film and will stream on tabii.

This page carries the official trailer with human-translated English subtitles, and the full Episode 1 will be added here as soon as it is released.
